                  About                     Witterings Counselling

Angélique is a Psychodynamic Psychotherapeutic Counsellor fully

insured, registered with the British Association for Counsellors and

Psychotherapists (BACP), working from her Private Practice based

in East Wittering.

Angélique works with young people, adults and couples, with a special

interest in Perinatal mental health.

There are times in life when things are feeling difficult, frustrating,

upsetting and even impossible to manage. This can be impacting your

relationships, work, outlook on life, how you approach new things and

perhaps a general sense of being stuck. This may occur to you, as an

individual or within a relationship. There are many transitions in life

that can bring us closer or drift us apart.

The not knowing what to expect when seeking counselling can feel daunting and anxiety provoking. It makes the therapeutic relationship an important part of beginning to make sense of and understanding what is  the root of those feelings.

Everyone's experience will be unique and it is important that you feel held and secure so that over time it may feel secure enough to open the door to hidden unbearable thoughts and feelings. This process will not be linear and at times may feel challenging but together we can explore and think about your feelings and their early origins. This will allow you to see and experience the present with new insight and deeper self-awareness so that you can move forward as your authentic self.

Initial Contact and Sessions

I offer short and long-term face-to-face sessions as well as online and telephone sessions.

If you decide to get in touch, I will contact you via your preferred option. I will offer you an initial 15 minutes telephone appointment for you to tell me about yourself and what you are looking for. We then arrange a 50-minute face-to-face initial session, so we can both decide if we would like to work together before we to go ahead with weekly 50 minute sessions.

Sessions are £50 for individual counselling and £80 for couples counselling.

The counselling room is easily accessible with ample off-site parking down Kimbridge road and a bus stop near by.

As registered Member of the BACP I abide by the Ethical Framework for Good Practice. It is a requirement that I have regular Supervision and I continue with my Professional Development to update and develop my counselling skills and knowledge. I am also registered with the ICO (Information Commissioners Office).
